Load Securement

 

Load Securement is a 4 hour course, from 6-10pm.

 

The objective of this course is to teach the student why it is necessary to secure the load, how to meet administrative requirements and why it is important to know company policies and Government regulations.

 

It also includes how to work properly with load straps, ratchets, anti sliding mats and chains. Students will be shown how to classify them and how to figure out how many are necessary to secure the load safely.

 

 Another important part of this course will be to train the students to be aware for possible hazards.
